| I have been a songwriter/singer for over 25yrs. I began writing and publishing poetry at a very young age, and turned to songwriting in my teens. By the age of 20 I entered into my first professional experience by recording under contract to London Records. Although the 3 albums were never released in the USA, one song did receive notice on the world market "Mr. Spiritual Man". Spending the next 20yrs treating music as a hobby while I raised a family, I wrote and copyrighted over 200 songs. Then in 1998 after my youngest left the house. I began playing out again. After a year of playing venues in the Tri-state area, to a large following and solid reviews, my music was noticed by Negril Studio Music LLC and I was asked to record the CD "Universal Visions" under their Indie lable. In November of 1999 the CD was released to critical acclaim, but with no distrubution and a associate producer backing out financially the project became mine, with full agreement of Negril. It's second release was in March of 2001 and has been making waves all over the indie market. I am currently living in Florida with my beautiful wife and manager, Elonna, and we are active in our search for a lable and/or promoter to handle "Universal Visions" and my new release "Rob Walters Live 2001" plus future releases. |
